About Us

FOTOSOLAR was born out of the initiative of a group of professionals in the energy sector in 2004. It was established as a group dedicated to the development, construction and operation of renewable energy projects, and, especially, photovoltaic solar power.

As a result of FOTOSOLAR joining the EDF Energies Nouvelles Group, www.edf-energies-nouvelles.com one of the international leaders in renewable energy, the latter’s financial wherewithal and R&D&I resources have now been combined with Fotosolar’s experience and technical know-how.

FOTOSOLAR forms part of the Steering Committee of APPA Solar, the Association of Renewable Energy Producers, www.appa.es and ASIF, www.asif.org the Photovoltaic Industry Association, and it collaborates in studies and projects with various public and private entities.
