As far as Photovoltaic Solar Power is concerned, EDF Energies Nouvelles presented a PV strategic plan in 2008 with the objective of becoming the leading operator of this energy worldwide. The aim is to have an installed capacity of 500 MWp by the end of 2012.
At 31 March 2010 EDF Energies Nouvelles has an installed PV capacity of 95.3 MWp plus a further 154.3 MWp under construction in Europe and the USA:
