El modulo TE 2000 usa células fotovoltaicas en silicio policristalino con rendimiento de conversión elevado. Las celulas solares estan medidas individualmente y seleccionadas electronicamente antes de ser interconectadas. Encapsulación por hojaldrado de capa polimerizada al calor, resistente a temperaturas elevadas. Cara delantera en vidrio templado, con leve tenor en hierro. Cara trasera en Tedlar. El hojaldrado, EVA resistante a los UV, baña las celulas fotovoltaicas dentro de los laminados y asegura condiciónes de funccionamiento optimales de las celulas bajo cada ambiente. La estructura vidrio/Tedlar del modulo reduce su peso, protegando en el mismo tiempo y duraderamente las celulas solares.
