EDF Energies Nouvelles (www.edf-energies-nouvelles.com), is the renewable energies subsidiary of the French multinational electricity group EDF (www.edf.fr). It is a leading player in the wind and solar power market and other renewable energy markets, and FOTOSOLAR benefits from its extensive experience of over 15 years in the sector, its impressive technical know-how, its technology in the field of photovoltaic solar energy and its potential to finance projects.

EDF Energies Nouvelles has an installed capacity of 3039.5 MWp as at 31 March 2010 (mainly wind and solar power), plus a further 849.5 MWp under construction in Europe and the USA.

As far as photovoltaic solar power is concerned, it presented a PV strategic plan in 2008 with the objective of becoming the leading operator of this energy worldwide. The aim is to have an installed capacity of 500 MWp by the end of 2012. At 31 March 2010 EDF Energies Nouvelles has an installed PV capacity of 95.3 MWp plus a further 154.3 MWp under construction in Europe and the USA.
